Meet the Midwives

Kelsey A. Fisher, MSM, LDM, CPM is a midwife at Bridge Town Midwifery. She graduated with a Master's of Science in Midwifery from Bastyr University in 2014. She also received her Certified Professional Midwife certificate and Oregon Direct Entry Midwifery License the same year. Her clinical training included the unique trifecta of catching babies in home, birth center, and hospital settings with a variety of midwives.

Before deciding to be a midwife, Kelsey studied Chemical Engineering at Oregon State University. Her love of science never dissipated, she has carried it into her career as an enthusiasm for evidence based medicine. She loves blending the ancient traditions of midwifery with the best of modern technology.

Kelsey also serves the midwifery community as the secretary of the Oregon Midwifery Council, President of the Oregon Midwifery Foundation, and on the board of Direct Entry Midwifery.
